A new decision-making game “Train crash” was developed within the project. The game is localized on a railroad crossing in Kobylnica near Poznan, where a bus collides with a freight train. The game was created with the participation of the Polish Railway Lines (PKP S.A.)
The aim of the SIMULATOR project, co-funded by the National Centre for Research and Development, is to deliver and prepare for implementation the information system called „ Special Situations Management System”. The System will serve to: test and improve operating procedures and emergency&technical services in crisis situations, coaching the public services personnel in procedures in emergency situations, follow up the status of certain parameters and support the decision-making process The project lasted three years and ended in July of 2011.
